“Weird Al” Yankovic’s “Word Crimes” is a parody of “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke. “Blurred Lines” came out in 2013 and became a hit. It was a perfect candidate for a parody. Weird Al changed the song from borderline¬†rape-y¬†to a satire about both ‘grammar nazis’ and those that infuriates them.
